Job Summary
Welcome2Africa is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead its investment and trade promotion efforts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract investments, promote trade relations, and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive strategies to attract foreign investments and promote trade opportunities in alignment with the company's objectives and market trends.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential investors, financial institutions, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate investment opportunities and partnerships.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of multiple programs and events to promote exports, facilitate trade agreements, and enhance market access for products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives, drive strategy, and deliver exceptional programs.
• Requirements:
  • Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 4 years in investment promotion, program coordination/management, trade development, or related field, with experience in international business environments.
  • Strong understanding of global trade dynamics, investment trends, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in working amongst internal teams.
  • Relevant experience in marketing and corporate communications.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional teams, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards achieving objectives.
  • Proficiency in English language is required, French/Chinese languages is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
