JOB SUMMARY

Qualification and Requirements Minimum of 2.2/Upper Credit Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Arts & Humanities and other related field. 2 years experience in performance management. Sound knowledge of employment laws, regulations, statutes and best practices relating to employee performance management. Knowledge of human resources management principles, practices, procedures, principles and practices of workforce planning, succession planning and strategic planning. Effectively communicating, both orally and written. Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques. Critical thinking to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions. Ability to develop and use of work simplification methods and statistical procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary We are currently seeking a Performance management specialist to join our Lagos team. The purpose of the Performance Management Specialist is to develop and execute programs and projects to evaluate, measure, and improve employee performance.Duties Oversee the development and implementation of company wide performance appraisal programs. Provide advice and recommendations to management and employees. Provide ongoing oversight and support to ensure that performance measures are being used to effectively manage operations. Identify and manage risks, and effect organizational change. Oversee the development and implementation of agency core competencies, core values, and key performance measures into performance appraisal system. Analyzing and reporting on measurement results. Develop and conduct presentations and training to management on the performance appraisal system. Develop and conduct presentations and training to staff on the performance appraisal system. Conduct assessments and gap analysis on employee skills and training. Develop and implement performance improvement plans. Assess various staffing needs to determine methods to address current and future conditions, including retention management, realignment, recruitment planning, and career development. Suggest change management initiatives by conducting readiness assessments, job-impact analysis, and skill and capability assessments.
