Accountant
• Job Summary: The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in all financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing financial analysis to support management decisions.
Job Description:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Conduct regular financial audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications: HND/BSc in Accounting or Finance. ICAN certification is an added advantage. Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is preferred.
