• Job Summary: The Inventory Officer will manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production while minimizing waste and loss. This role involves monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory audits, and coordinating with suppliers.
Job Description:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials for production.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and disposals.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste, loss, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to forecast inventory needs and plan purchases accordingly.
• Prepare inventory reports for management, highlighting trends and recommending actions to optimize inventory management.
Required Skills:
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to perform accurate stock level analysis and forecasting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications: ND/HND/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
