Job Overview:

As a Drone Operations Expert at Icon Geo, you will be responsible for planning and executing drone missions to capture high-quality aerial imagery and spatial data. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in outdoor environments.

**Responsibilities:**
• Develop and implement flight plans for drone operations
• Conduct site assessments and plan flight paths
• Maintain and calibrate drone equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Analyze and process collected data to identify trends and patterns
• Collaborate with GIS analysts to integrate drone-captured data into enterprise systems
• Document flight activities, data collection processes, and maintenance logs

**Requirements:**
• 3–5 years of professional experience in drone operations
• UAV/drone pilot certification (e.g., FAA Part 107 or equivalent)
• Proficiency in operating various drone platforms and processing data using software such as Pix4D, DJI Terra, or related tools
• Strong understanding of flight planning and safety protocols
