Administrative Support Position

As a Medical Secretary at Ascentech Services Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, providing exceptional support to medical staff and patients, and ensuring seamless office operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage cancellations or rescheduling as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and instructions.
  • Maintain and update patient electronic health records (EHRs) accurately and securely.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information by adhering to HIPAA compliance guidelines.
  • Prepare and manage essential documents, including medical histories and discharge summaries.
  • Foster effective working relationships with the medical team to promote collaboration and quality outcomes.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective interventions to optimize results.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Maintain a well-organized office environment that operates smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related healthcare field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or similar administrative role.
  • Experience working with EHRs, databases, and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of medical coding, medical office procedures, regulations, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
