We are looking for a seasoned IT professional to assume the role of Deputy IT Director for Development. This strategic position demands a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership acumen.

Inspiring Team Leadership

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring seamless continuity and decisive action in the Head of IT's absence
  • Unifying IT operations, administration, and stakeholders to resolve challenges and drive progress
  • Championing project excellence by allocating team resources, monitoring performance, and sharing successes with the Head of IT
Pioneering Generative Technology Transformation

This visionary role involves spearheading the transition from traditional development to cutting-edge LLM-driven innovation, unlocking automated efficiency in testing, documentation, and workflows. The ideal candidate will explore and implement AI-powered solutions to elevate software development, quality control, and team productivity.

Empowering Process and Tool Optimization

The selected individual will join forces with the Head of IT to automate processes, accelerate requirement implementation, and select game-changing tools. This will amplify our IT impact and cultivate a dynamic development environment where internal stakeholders can thrive.

Requirements

To succeed in this critical role, the ideal candidate must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a higher qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Java, C#.net, JavaScript, Python, etc.) preferably in a software industry
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead (People Management)
  • Experience in remote work environments
Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate should also have:

  • Significant technical and working experience with Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Understanding of both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in contributing to open-source projects, managing GitHub projects, and submitting pull requests
