Job Overview

The Applied Engineering Technology Initiative Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to ensure compliance with accounting procedures and processes.
  • Oversee banking activities, including account openings and reconciliations.
  • Process vendor payments and coordinate income/receipts monitoring.
  • Manage asset record keeping and liaise with statutory bodies, such as state and federal tax authorities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly accounting reports and provide logistics support to other departments.
  • Collaborate with the administrative department for stock taking and perform cost accounting functions.
  • Offer advice on company mark-up/profit margin and administer taxes.
  • Verify purchased items before payment and perform other duties assigned by management.
