Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas. This role involves performing cleaning tasks, ensuring a safe environment for all staff and visitors, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and maintain waste disposal areas.
  • Report maintenance issues or needed repairs to the supervisor.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request reorders as necessary.
  • Assist in special cleaning projects as directed by management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
