Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ABA Therapist to join our team As an ABA Therapist, you will play a vital role in implementing person-centered programs that cater to the unique needs of each child. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis best practices.
  • Teaching functional skills and developing communication systems to enhance social skills and promote empowerment.
  • Monitoring and recording data daily to track progress towards each child's targets.
  • Providing support during times of disruptive behavior and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Organizing and maintaining program materials for efficient access.
  • Assisting children with self-help skills, including personal care and hygiene needs.
  • Modeling best practice and professionalism at all times.
  • Attending mandatory trainings, team meetings, and self-directed e-learning modules.
  • Promoting safeguarding and wellbeing for children to the highest standard.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental delays and/or autism.
  • Experience in managing challenging behaviors and utilizing ABA methodologies for skill acquisition.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with a degree in Psychology, Child Development Studies, Special Education, or related fields will be given preference. Additionally, certification as an ABAT or RBT is desirable.
