Job Title: Electrical Service Engineer

About the Role:

The electrical service engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems at AMDEETEL NIGERIA LTD. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise and excellent problem-solving skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Advanced diagnostics and repair of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Analysis and resolution of electrical faults to minimize downtime.
  • Installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems for new projects or upgrades.
  • Verification of system performance against design specifications.
  • Participation in electrical service projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope.
  • Coordination with direct manager and other departments, vendors, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international electrical standards.
  • Promotion and enforcement of workplace safety protocols, adhering to HSE standards.
  • Maintenance of accurate records of service activities, inspections, and system performance.
  • Preparation of detailed technical reports and recommendations for improvements.
  • Providing professional assistance to expatriate electricians during service-related jobs.
  • Ensuring availability of parts and supplies by assessing jobs and determining spare parts/assemblies needed.
  • Ensuring all tools provided are complete and kept clean at all times.
