Job Summary

The Global Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for overseeing the internal and external communications of Golden Guinea Breweries Plc, ensuring alignment with its brand image, corporate goals, and policies. This role involves liaising with stakeholders, media, and the public while maintaining a positive organizational reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic corporate communication plans to enhance the organization's public image.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with media outlets, responding to inquiries and issuing press releases.
  • Organize press conferences, media briefings, and interviews to promote the company's achievements and initiatives.
  • Draft and edit content for various communications channels, including newsletters, speeches, and corporate reports.
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, community groups, and business associations.
  • Coordinate corporate social responsibility initiatives to promote the company's role in community development.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant corporate regulations and laws, managing company registrations and filings with appropriate bodies.
  • Maintain and update corporate governance documents, policies, and procedures.
Event Management
  • Plan and manage corporate events, seminars, and sponsorships to enhance brand visibility.
  • Represent the organization at external functions, trade fairs, and industry events.
Brand and Reputation Management
  • Monitor public perception of the company and address issues that may affect the organization's reputation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistent corporate messaging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance, legal, and regulatory compliance.
  • Event planning and public relations expertise.
  • Ability to handle media crises and manage sensitive issues effectively.

Estimated Salary: ₦120,000 - ₦180,000 per month
