Job Summary

This is a 100% onsite role requiring the successful candidate to design, implement, and manage security controls, threat protection, and incident response to safeguard our data and systems from unauthorized access or damage.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based management and security-related matters in a large-scale organization, collaborating with application developers and database administrators to deliver creative solutions to complex technology challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design: Contribute to the development of secure hardware, software, and cloud-based systems, ensuring they are protected against cyber threats.
  • Security Implementation: Direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls.
  • Security Review: Conduct thorough reviews of existing system design and architecture, making recommendations for security enhancements.
  • Incident Response: Assist in responding to internal and external compliance audits, data requests, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Communication: Interpret security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitoring: Monitor and analyze threat intelligence feeds and industry news and events to stay current on emerging security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
  • Compliance: Implement and manage security and compliance solutions, including Microsoft Cloud Security Services, Vulnerability Management, and Firewall.
  • Platform Protection: Implement platform protection, security controls, and threat protection to safeguard our cloud environments.
  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Proactively secure Microsoft 365 enterprise and hybrid environments, leveraging expertise with Identity and Access Management architectures and solutions, including Azure Active Directory management, role-based access control, SSO, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A minimum of B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, with an MBA being an added advantage.
  • Experience: Must be a certified Cybersecurity professional with at least 5 years of cognate experience in the technology industry.
  • Zero Trust Concept: Familiarity with the Zero Trust concept and its integration with Azure.
  • Cloud Platform Technologies: Experience with cloud platform technologies, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center: Expertise with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center and the Security tools in Microsoft 365.
  • NIST 800-53, ISO 27000 Series, and COBIT: Functional experience securing enterprise networks and information systems according to Industry frameworks.
