Job Description

KAAPO NIGERIA LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting to oversee all financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, procedures, and regulations, including GAAP. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage and develop a team of accountants.

The Head of Accounting will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
  • Preparing and overseeing budgets and financial projections
  • Ensuring the accuracy and organization of financial records
  • Providing financial guidance and advice to senior management
  • Overseeing the preparation of financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders

Additionally, the successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software, such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
