Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical tasks as directed by senior electrical engineers, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement electrical designs using Auto-CAD, driving innovation and efficiency.
  • Oversee the construction and installation of electrical equipment, generating plants, electrical panels, and pipeline engineering, guaranteeing compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical installations meet design requirements.
  • Prepare and submit project reports and progress updates, providing stakeholders with timely insights.
  • Supervise project commissioning, ensuring electrical systems are functioning as intended.
  • Conduct electrical testing on site, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Compile defects and snag lists, driving quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implement management procedures and systems on site, promoting operational excellence.
  • Attend project meetings, providing expert electrical engineering insights.
  • Provide contractors with project procedures manuals and guidance on correspondence formats, reports, and other essential documents.
  • Review contractors' program of works and advise management on necessary adjustments.
  • Review contractors' as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Professional Certification: Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE), COREN, or NSE certification. Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering electrical engineering projects.
  • Industrial and domestic electrical design experience using Auto-CAD.
  • Installation of new machine equipment and preparation of documentation, including Installation Qualification (IQ), Validation, and Calibration.
  • Repair, replacement, and troubleshooting of electrical components installed in machines.
  • Supervision of panel making, machine wiring, validation, automation control projects, and documentation.
Highly proficient in:
  • Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Auto-CAD and Revit.
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written).
