Job Description

The DevOps Engineer will play a key role in driving our team's success, combining technical and management skills to integrate various functions and deliver responsibilities to customers' satisfaction. This dynamic role requires excellent communication and coordination skills to plan, implement, and monitor processes throughout the entire lifecycle, adhering to best practices and minimizing wastage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning: Develop project structures, activities, and involvement in project management.">
  • Defining Processes: Establish development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.">
  • Technical Review: Review, verify, and validate software code developed in projects.">
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and fix code bugs using troubleshooting techniques.">
  • Automation: Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.">
  • Implementation: Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.">
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholders and external interfaces effectively.">
  • Infrastructure Setup: Set up required tools and infrastructure.">
  • Customer Requirements: Understand customer requirements and project KPIs.">
  • Deployment: Deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.">
  • CICD Tools: Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools.">
  • Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate within the team and with customers.">
  • Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).">
  • Monitoring: Monitor and measure customer experience and KPIs.">
  • Process Monitoring: Monitor processes during the entire lifecycle for adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing wastage.">
  • Incident Management: Manage incidence and root cause analysis.">
  • Reporting: Manage periodic reporting on progress to management and customers.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Educational Background: BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.">
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.">
  • Engineering Experience: Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.">
  • Technology Expertise: Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Linux Sys Admin (RHEL, Ubuntu, Alpine), Azure Networking, Azure Application Gateway, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Jenkins.">
  • Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service (PaaS) products: Microsoft Azure SQL, AppServices, Logic Apps, Functions, and other Serverless services.">
  • Identity and Access Management: Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products, including Azure AD or AD B2C.">
  • Operational and Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights, and Log Analytics.">
  • Scripting Languages: Proficient with PowerShell, Git, ARM templates, and deployment automation.">
  • System Security Measures: Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.">
  • Business Analysis Techniques: Advanced education and application of business analysis techniques and strategy.">
  • Version Control Systems: Proficient with git and git workflows.">
  • Programming Languages: Good knowledge of Ruby or Python.">
  • Databases: Working knowledge of databases and SQL.">
  • Certification: Azure DevOps Engineer Certification (Preferred).">
