As a key member of the Bisedge Logistics & Infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic financial guidance and support to our business leaders.

The Strategic Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing expert financial analysis, planning, and decision-making to drive business success. This involves partnering with our operations team to develop and implement financial strategies that enhance business performance and improve profitability.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with department heads to develop and manage their budgets, ensuring alignment with our company-wide objectives and identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Providing insightful financial analysis to support business decision-making, including performance analysis, variance analysis to budget, and budget control.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and providing recommendations to executive leadership.

You will also be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our business leaders on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Additionally, you will develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to track and improve business performance and profitability.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our finance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards (IFRS). You will also identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements to drive operational efficiency.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced financial professional who possesses deep knowledge and understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial management principles. Your expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, cost analysis, and management, as well as your experience in logistics management and operations management, will be invaluable to our organization.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CFA, ICAN, ACCA, or CPA.
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.
