**Job Summary:**

The Global Peace Development is seeking a highly skilled Environment and Community Health Officer to play a pivotal role in developing and implementing health and environmental initiatives in Yobe State. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to identify community health needs and design programs promoting a cleaner, healthier environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Programs to develop community health and environmental project proposals and initiatives.
  • Support the development of project-specific work plans, result frameworks, and sustainability plans.
  • Conduct community assessments and create context-specific reports on environmental and health conditions.
  • Collaborate with M&E staff to design project indicators and data collection tools.
  • Engage community members and stakeholders to foster awareness of community health and environmental sustainability.
  • Facilitate workshops and build capacity for communities on environmental health best practices.
  • Provide technical support for integrating community health and environmental initiatives within existing programs.
