About the Role

The Community Sustainability Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing initiatives that promote a cleaner, healthier environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to identify community needs, design project proposals, and implement activities that support sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Director of Programs on developing project proposals and initiatives focused on community health and environmental sustainability.
  • Support the development of project-specific work plans, result frameworks, and sustainability plans.
  • Conduct community assessments and create context-specific reports on environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) staff to design project indicators and data collection tools.
  • Engage community members and stakeholders to foster awareness of community health and environmental sustainability best practices.
  • Facilitate workshops and build capacity for communities on environmental sustainability.
  • Provide technical support for integrating community health and environmental initiatives within existing programs.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This position is ideal for a professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the field of community sustainability.
