Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Ascentech Services, you will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment process to meet the evolving needs of our business. Your key responsibility will be to collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and develop effective strategies to source, attract, and select top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with Hiring Managers:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the skills and qualifications required for each role.
- Determine the most effective channels for candidate sourcing, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates, including online searches, referrals, and networking events.
- Evaluate resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.
- Interview Coordination and Selection:
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide recommendations and feedback on candidates to assist in the selection process.
- Database Management and Relationship Building:
- Maintain an organized database of applicants and track recruitment metrics to inform future sourcing strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners to foster a collaborative environment.
- Professional Development:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a similar industry.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both internal stakeholders and external candidates.
- A detail-oriented approach, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and candidate engagement.
