Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Event Coordinator to join our team in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of organizing successful events and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venues
  • Plan event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests
  • Manage events and address potential problems that may arise
  • Plan for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity of the event
  • Manage all event operations
  • Do final checks at the day of the event to ensure everything meets standards
  • Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
  • Evaluate event's success and submit reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as event coordinator
  • Proven track record of organizing successful events
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of basic recruitment practices
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
  • Well-organised with multi-tasking skills
  • Able to handle stress and remain calm
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred
