Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Location: Mile 2, Lagos State

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our team in Mile 2, Lagos. The ideal candidate must have 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with strong expertise in SAP (or similar ERP systems) and a solid understanding of the import and manufacturing or logistics sectors.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent financial reporting, tax compliance, and analytical skills, as well as a sound knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports in line with IFRS and local financial regulations

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes

  • Manage tax planning and compliance (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.)

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure effective financial controls are in place

  • Handle budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management

  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies

  • Provide financial insights and reports to support senior management decision-making

  • Support and streamline financial operations related to import transactions and supply chain finance

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA or ICAN certified)

  • 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience

  • Proven experience in manufacturing, logistics, or import-related businesses is strongly preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP (or similar ERP systems)

  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and financial reporting standards

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
