Job summary

Osten Limited, a leader in Total Quality Assurance and Sustainability, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Finance and Account Officer to support the company's financial operations and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely reporting.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process and verify invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Prepare and send invoices to clients and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Track sales, taxes, and apply correct tax entries on invoices.
  • Monitor office expenses, company loans, and investments.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Track bank accounts, deposits, and balances and report updates to management.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare monthly performance report (MPR) financials, including customer balances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and compiling financial data for bids and proposals.
  • Support internal and corporate audits with proper documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with payroll-related statutory remittances and maintain proper records.
  • Monitor tax obligations (PAYE, WHT, VAT, CIT) and provide regular compliance updates.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and financial regulations.
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Training or coursework in taxation, financial reporting, or accounting software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Zoho and basic accounting tools.
  • Solid understanding of tax computations and statutory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
