Job summary

We seek to hire a Tax, Regulatory and People Services Analyst to utilize tax and regulatory information to support compliance, develop effective strategies and deliver people services solutions.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, computation, and filing of taxes (PAYE, WHT, VAT, CIT, and other statutory taxes)
  • Support compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations
  • Monitor regulatory deadlines and assist with timely filings and documentation
  • Support tax audits, regulatory reviews, and correspondence with relevant authorities
  • Maintain accurate records, schedules, and working papers for tax and people services engagements
  • Assist in providing tax, regulatory, and people services support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and other regulatory changes

Requirements:

  • Minimum academic qualification of HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Basic knowledge of Nigerian tax laws
  • Willingness to commence or continue professional studies (ICAN, CITN, or related certifications)
  • Good analytical, communication and documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers and deadlines
  • Proficiency in basic office tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn payroll systems and tax compliance software
  • A team player with a teachable and proactive attitude
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients and regulatory bodies
