Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Import Officer based in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Import Officer will handle importation processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with suppliers, shipping agents, and regulatory authorities. Responsibilities will also include preparing and managing import documentation, overseeing customs clearance, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods. The candidate will monitor supply chain timelines while maintaining accurate records and addressing any import-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of import procedures, regulatory compliance, customs documentation, and logistics management
  • Proficiency in supply chain management, vendor coordination, and shipment tracking
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or related industry is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software systems
