About Us

We are a fast-growing, patient-centred medical facility operating with a team of 8 Medical Officers and supported by specialist consultants across various fields. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, obstetric, and emergency care to our community. As we expand, we are seeking a competent and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team.

Role Summary

The Medical Officer will provide high-quality clinical care across medical, surgical, and obstetric cases. The ideal candidate must be post-NYSC, have at least two (2) years of clinical practice, possess minor surgical skills, and be confident in managing labour room patients and emergency medical situations.

The officer must demonstrate excellent communication skills, clinical judgment, and a willingness to learn from consultants.

Key Responsibilities

1). Provide comprehensive medical and emergency care to patients.

2). Manage labour and delivery cases with competence and confidence.

3). Perform minor surgical procedures such as: Incision & drainage, Lipoma excision, Cyst removal, Suturing & wound management and

Other minor procedures as required (with compensation per procedure).

4). Conduct patient consultations, examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

5). Work collaboratively with consultants and senior clinicians.

6). Participate in the hospital's duty roster and rotational shifts.

7). Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

8). Attend to all forms of medical and surgical emergencies.

9). Demonstrate continuous learning and professional development

Requirements

I) Must be Post-NYSC. With

Minimum of 2 years clinical practice in a recognized medical facility.

2). Competence in minor surgical procedures.

3). Strong experience and confidence in labour room management.

4). Ability to handle medical and surgical emergencies.

5). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6) Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making abilities.

7) Must be eager and willing to learn from consultants.

8) Must live within or very close to Egbeda / Akowonjo axis (highly preferred).

Compensation

I) ₦350,000 NET monthly salary.

II) Additional compensation for minor surgical procedures performed.
