Our client, a reputable real estate firm located in Anthony, Lagos, is currently seeking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the organization's financial processes, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements.

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

  • Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, Pension, etc.).

  • Perform budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Monitor internal controls and develop effective accounting procedures.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

  • Support management in strategic decision-making with financial insights.

  • Manage cash flow and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.

Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA) is required or in advanced stages.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience, preferably in the real estate or related sector.

  • ⁠- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
