  • The HSE Project Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) strategies to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
  • The role requires strong leadership in enforcing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and driving a proactive safety culture across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with all HSE regulations, standards, and policies (e.g., ISO, OSHA, DPR).
  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures, training programs, and emergency response plans.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Advise project teams and management on best practices to minimize workplace hazards.
  • Coordinate and supervise HSE Officers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to maintain safe work conditions.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of relevant experience in HSE management within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other applicable HSE frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading safety initiatives in large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
  • Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON) are an added advantage.
