Head of Institutional Sales

Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Head of Institutional Sales & Distribution to lead our efforts in securing and managing institutional mandates. The successful candidate will leverage their strong network with Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs), insurance firms, corporates, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) to drive business growth and achieve key performance indicators.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to win and manage institutional mandates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target institutions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage and grow existing institutional client relationships
- Achieve KPIs, including:
- Securing 3-5 institutional MOUs within Year 1
- ₦5-₦12 billion AUM inflows in the first 12 months
- Institutional client retention rate ≥ 85%
- Client acquisition cost (CAC) ≤ 15% of first-year fees
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in institutional sales, wealth, or asset management
- Proven track record of winning and managing institutional mandates
- Strong network with PFAs, insurance firms, corporates, and HNWIs
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills
