Overall purpose of the Job:

The Head Sales is responsible for driving the Organization sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion. The role oversees all aspects of the sales department, from setting sales targets to developing strategic plans for expanding the customer base and ensuring consistent revenue generation.

Job Responsibilities

Develop Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals of market expansion, revenue growth, and customer acquisition across various industries. This involves identifying new opportunities, defining target markets, and setting sales targets to meet and exceed company objectives.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The goal is to ensure the team is equipped to effectively sell the company's diverse portfolio of services to different institutions.

Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain key client relationships, understanding their needs. This involves collaborating closely with other departments to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market shifts, and competitive landscape to proactively adjust sales strategies and product positioning, keeping the company at the forefront of innovation.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client satisfaction and product development. Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through the implementation of innovative sales techniques and initiatives.

Qualification required.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is preferred but not mandatory years of progressive sales experience in the technology industry, with a proven track record of successful sales leadership and revenue generation.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling software solutions, preferably in cloud services and IT education.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
