About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Officer with strong knowledge of retail or supermarket operations to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting HR functions, ensuring effective people management, and driving a high-performance culture across all retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for retail staff.

Support performance management and ensure compliance with company HR policies.

Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.

Coordinate staff training, development, and performance evaluations.

Maintain accurate HR records, attendance, and payroll support documentation.

Work closely with the retail operations team to ensure manpower needs are met.

Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal operational standards.

Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve productivity.

Requirements

HND / B.Sc. in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3–5 years proven HR experience within retail, supermarket, FMCG, or sales environments.

Strong understanding of retail staffing, shift scheduling, and sales-floor operations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage field staff across multiple branches.

Knowledge of HR software and MS Office tools.

Professional HR certifications (CIPM, SHRM) are an added advantage.
