We are seeking a proactive, organized, and people-focused
Human Resource Officer
to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the full HR lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to staff welfare, performance management, and policy implementation. This role requires someone who is attentive to detail, approachable, and committed to building a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Oversee attendance, leave management, and shift schedule compliance
  • Coordinate staff training, development initiatives, and performance reviews
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and HR best practices
  • Support payroll preparation by providing relevant staff data
  • Drive employee engagement and welfare activities
  • Assist in implementing HR strategies, systems, and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field
  • 2 years' experience in HR or administrative roles (hospitality experience is an advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, Nigerian labour law, and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software tools
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work under minimal supervision
