Key Responsibilities Strategic Security Leadership

  • Develop and implement a company-wide security strategy for GText Holdings and all subsidiaries.
  • Conduct risk assessments on physical locations, properties, warehouses, estate sites, and corporate offices.
  • Monitor ongoing security threats and deploy proactive measures to safeguard people, assets, and data.

Personnel & Asset Protection

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and deployment of all security personnel (internal & outsourced).
  • Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for guards, patrol units, and control-room operations.
  • Ensure 24/7 security coverage at all GText facilities, project sites, and residential estates.

Surveillance & Technology Management

  • Supervise installation and management of CCTV, access control systems, alarm systems, and tracking tools.
  • Ensure all surveillance systems are functional, updated, and properly monitored.
  • Coordinate rapid response teams for emergency situations.

Crisis & Incident Management

  • Lead investigations on theft, breach, vandalism, fraud attempts, or suspicious activities.
  • Prepare incident reports and review patterns to reduce future risks.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement, local authorities, and emergency agencies when required.

Policy, Compliance & Governance

  • Develop security policies aligned with corporate governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian security regulations and private guard industry standards.
  • Secure sensitive documents, confidential data, and high-value assets.

Subsidiary Security Oversight

  • Conduct periodic security audits across:
  • GText Homes (real estate)
  • GText Land (sites & estates)
  • GText Farms (agric-tech)
  • GText Media
  • GText Construction
  • GText Properties / Facility Management
  • Oversee security protocols for staff housing, client estates, and company executives.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead the entire security department and supervise regional security coordinators.
  • Train guards on discipline, customer interaction, emergency procedures, and company culture.
  • Manage relationships with security vendors and external security agencies.

Requirements (What We're Looking For)

  • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in corporate or industrial security leadership.
  • Prior experience as CSO, Security Coordinator, or Senior Officer in a reputable organization or security force.
  • Strong background in estate security, corporate security, facility protection, crisis management, and executive protection.
  • Experience managing large teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of modern security technologies (CCTV, access control, surveillance systems, GPS tracking).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and confidentiality.
