Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Security Officer located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Chief Security Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing security policies, protocols, and procedures. They will oversee security operations, manage and train security personnel, and ensure the protection of company assets. Day-to-day tasks include conducting risk assessments, coordinating security response activities, and staying updated on security industry trends and threats. The Chief Security Officer will also be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with other departments to integrate security measures into company operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and crisis management
  • Experience in managing security personnel and teams
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and security industry standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or similar are a plus
