The GaffneyCline Energy Advisory team encompass all upstream subsurface technical disciplines to help support Baker Hughes' operations maximise reservoir value.

Partner with the best

You will provide guidance and support for solving complex technical problems that arise during drilling and evaluation . Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You'll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements.

As a Team Leader-Geoservices, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the subsurface focal point for UK well construction operations for external and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating with the Well Construction business segment with advising customers on Baker Hughes technology to help improve subsurface understanding based on customer requirements during operational planning
  • Engage with other groups in the Baker Hughes organisation to ensue appropriate subsurface professional support is available when required.
  • ·Identifying opportunities where other GaffneyCline energy advisory disciplines may be impactful to the customers business
  • ·Support business development including identifying upsell opportunities and proposal preparation
  • ·Participate in industry events and presentations to expand the GaffneyCline energy advisory brand

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors degree in Geology, Engineering or related discipline with significant Subsurface experience
  • Have at least 10 years' experience in Engineering/Technology. Geoservices or Subsurface or Petroleum Engineering or Production Engineering background is welcomed.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of discipline topics (Production Technology or Petroleum Engineering) and ability to speak with clients about discipline applications.
  • Be able to communication at all levels within the organisation and effectively influence others with and without authority
  • Have the ability to work across disciplines and co-ordinate across several projects
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Have excellent written and verbal undefined skills and be fluent in English
  • Be highly motivated with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
