Marconi EPC Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Technical Lead to oversee the installation, maintenance, and performance of our CCTV systems and associated IT infrastructure critical to security operations at the Marconi Base, Port Harcourt.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can lead by expertise, ensuring optimal functionality, uptime, and cybersecurity of security technology systems that safeguard our people, assets, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems (IP & analog).
  • Manage IT infrastructure supporting security operations — including servers, switches, routers, and storage systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex CCTV and IT-related issues with minimal downtime.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and longevity.
  • Execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve performance and security.
  • Configure and manage secure network connections within the security infrastructure.
  • Enforce cybersecurity and access control measures to safeguard systems.
  • Integrate CCTV platforms with other security technologies.
  • Monitor performance and plan for capacity expansion or upgrades.
  • Ensure all activities comply with industry standards and local regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BSc/HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with CCTV (IP & analog) installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, servers, and video surveillance systems.
  • Experience with Windows Server / Linux environments and network configuration.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Server+, or vendor-specific CCTV credentials are an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
