About the Role

We are recruiting a school teacher/front desk officer to support both academic and administrative operations within a reputable educational institution. The ideal candidate must be intelligent, well-spoken, organized, and passionate about working with children and parents in a school environment.

This role combines teaching responsibilities with front desk and administrative support, requiring strong communication, classroom management skills, and a warm, professional presence at the school reception.

Key Responsibilities Teaching Duties

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in assigned subjects.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Maintain lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessment records.
  • Support continuous learning and growth for students.
  • Communicate progress and feedback to parents as required.

Front Desk / Administrative Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff.
  • Manage incoming calls, enquiries, and front-office communication.
  • Maintain student records, files, and administrative documents.
  • Support daily school operations and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
  • Assist with admissions, registrations, and student onboarding.
  • Perform other administrative tasks assigned by school management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree/HND in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a teacher or school administrative staff is an added advantage.
  • Excellent spoken English, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage front-desk responsibilities professionally.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email).
  • Warm, friendly, and child-friendly personality.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work well with minimal supervision.
