Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located on Lagos Island for a Senior Cost Engineer. The Senior Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing cost control processes, preparing and monitoring budgets, and developing accurate cost estimates. The role involves analyzing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring project costs remain within budget. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders will be a key part of the job to ensure financial efficiency and project success.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management processes
  • Proficiency in Budgeting and Cost Engineering techniques
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills for financial evaluation and decision-making
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse team
  • Proficiency in cost estimation and project planning tools
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional), are an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in construction, engineering, or relevant industries is highly preferred
