We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Logistics Officer (Fleet & Transport Operations)

Job Locations: Abuja (FCT), Abeokuta - Ogun, Ibadan - Oyo, Calabar - Cross River and Oyo

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of trucks, drivers, and consignments to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Supervise drivers' schedules, performance, and adherence to safety and operational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of trip logs, fuel usage, and delivery documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure efficient logistics planning.
  • Ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are adhered to and report any mechanical or operational issues promptly.
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates to management and clients.
  • Support compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant work experience in logistics operations.
  • Proven experience managing drivers and coordinating fleet operations.
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Assist in route planning to optimizeand ensure timely deliveries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
