Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Study Abroad Recruitment Specialist with proven success in selling study abroad services to students. This role requires a results-driven professional who understands the international education landscape and can effectively convert prospective students into enrolled clients. The ideal candidate will have specific experience in the study abroad industry and a track record of meeting recruitment targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and recruit students for our study abroad programs and services
  • Conduct personalized consultations to understand student aspirations and recommend suitable study abroad options
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial inquiry to enrollment in our services
  • Maintain expert knowledge of study abroad processes, including university admissions, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed monthly enrollment targets for study abroad services
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective students through various recruitment channels
  • Provide accurate information about study destinations, institutions, and program requirements
  • Represent AfriProEdu at virtual education fairs and recruitment events

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience selling study abroad services directly to students
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding enrollment targets in international education
  • Comprehensive understanding of study abroad processes and requirements
  • Strong network and connections within the international education sector
  • Experience with student recruitment cycles and admission timelines
  • Excellent closing skills and ability to handle student objections effectively
  • Familiarity with multiple study destinations and their education systems

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with African students seeking international education
  • Knowledge of visa processes for major study destinations
  • Existing relationships with educational institutions or partner agencies
  • Multilingual abilities relevant to African markets
