ADVERTISEMENT
  • We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Procurement Officer to manage our procurement processes and ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and maintaining good rapportwith vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, conduct market research, and analyze market trends.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Manage the procurement process, including requisition, tendering, and contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on procurement activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPP) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
