We're looking for a
detail-oriented KYC Review Officer
to join our Compliance team. You'll help ensure our customer onboarding, account maintenance, and transaction monitoring processes meet regulatory standards.
What You will Do:
- Conduct KYC checks for new and existing customers (Individual, Corporate, SME)
- Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for high-risk accounts
- Screen customers against sanctions lists, PEPs databases, and adverse media
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and prepare STRs
- Maintain accurate and auditable KYC records
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline compliance processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years' experience in KYC/Compliance within a Nigerian financial institution or FinTech
- Knowledge of Nigerian AML/CFT regulations
- Professional compliance certification is a plus
Skills:
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in KYC platforms/databases (e.g., CRC Credit Bureau, Youverify, SmileID)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
