Job summary

We seek an Administrative Officer in a tailoring organization to be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth running of the business. Experience in the Production/Manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the office operations.
  • Supervising staff, handling recruitment, training, and employee relations.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service, handling complaints, and resolving issues.
  • Overseeing fabric and material procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Coordinating production schedules, managing workflows, and meeting deadlines.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality standards for garments and products.
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and databases.
  • Assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
  • Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assisting with marketing initiatives, sales promotions, and customer engagement.
  • Overseeing maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of equipment, premises, and facilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles or office management. Manufacturing experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

NB - You may come for interview between Tuesdays and Friday between 11 am to 2pm.
