Head of Finance Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial finance leader
with a proven track record in raising capital (equity and/or debt), engaging development finance institutions (DFIs) and commercial banks, and building robust financial systems in an infrastructure or energy context. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial strategy
  • Treasury & risk management
  • Project-finance structuring
  • Compliance/governance
  • Team leadership

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7- 10+ years of progressive senior finance experience, ideally in
    project/infrastructure or renewable energy sectors
  • Demonstrated success in capital-raising
    (equity, debt/structured project finance, blended finance)
  • Strong network and experience engaging
    DFIs, commercial banks, and investors
    in emerging markets
  • Professional qualification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA or equivalent), advanced financial modelling skills, and familiarity with IFRS and project financials (IRR, NPV, cash flows)
  • Strategic mindset combined with operational execution capacity; comfortable
    building systems in a lean, fast-moving environment
