Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Lagos. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. Additional tasks include supporting payroll processing, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing general accounting support to the finance team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and general ledger management
  • Experience with financial reporting, budget preparation, and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance with financial regulations
  • Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial data
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA) are an advantage
