JOB TITLE: Construction Engineer

LOCATION: Jakande, Lagos.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 2–3 Years

SALARY: 150K - 250k (Based on experience)

JOB SUMMARY**
The Construction Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. The role involves supervising site activities, ensuring quality and safety compliance, managing timelines and resources, and supporting the project team to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, site supervision, and project coordination, as well as hands-on experience in construction processes and stakeholder communication.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.**
Project Planning and Execution

Assist in preparing project plans, cost estimates, and timelines.

Supervise construction site activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors for project execution.

  1. Quality and Compliance Monitoring

Ensure construction work complies with design drawings, engineering standards, and local building regulations.

Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct deviations or defects.

Maintain site documentation, including inspection and material reports.

  1. Site Coordination and Supervision

Manage site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficiency.

Track daily progress and prepare site activity reports.

Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all personnel on-site.

  1. Material and Resource Management

Monitor material usage and inventory to prevent waste and ensure timely replenishment.

Verify the quality of materials received against specifications.

  1. Technical Support and Reporting

Provide technical assistance and problem-solving during construction.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management review.

Support the project team with documentation and technical drawings as required.
**REQUIREMENTS

1.**
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field.

  1. 2–3 years of experience in construction or site engineering.

  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or other construction management tools.

  3. Strong knowledge of building codes, structural design, and construction methodologies.

  4. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

6.Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.
