Job Summary: FTTH Project Manager

The FTTH Project Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end Fiber-to-the-Home rollout projects, overseeing planning, execution, integration, and Ready-for-Service (RFS) delivery across multiple polygons and clusters. The role involves coordinating all deployment activities—including civil works, pole deployment, ODN installation, fiber stringing, and hub box/sub-box installation—while ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and design specifications. The Project Manager works closely with OEMs, network teams, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues, ensure design and material readiness, and optimize resource utilization, including the tracking and reuse of decommissioned materials.

Responsibilities

  • Led end-to-end FTTH rollout projects, managing planning, execution, integration, and RFS delivery across multiple polygons and clusters.
  • Planned and tracked FTTH deployment activities including civil works, pole deployment, ODN installation, feeder & distribution fiber stringing, and hub box/sub-box installation.
  • Coordinated with OEMs, network teams, site engineers, and subcontractors (SBCs) to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
  • Ensured design readiness by reviewing and approving HLD/LLD, KMZ files, ODN designs, and resolving RFIs.
  • Managed material readiness and logistics, including tracking decommissioned materials for reuse in reshuffling sites.
  • Oversaw OLT installation, integration, and testing, including securing exemptions during network freeze periods.
  • Enforced installation quality standards, reviewed SSV documentation, QC reports, and as-built records prior to RFS.
  • Ensured strict compliance with EHS guidelines, PPE usage, and site safety requirements.
  • Monitored daily execution through DPRs, progress dashboards, and site performance metrics.
  • Managed vendor performance, productivity, and compliance, including issuance of warnings and penalties where required.
  • Tracked home passes achievement, site closure, and RFS milestones against project targets.
  • Identified project risks and implemented mitigation and recovery plans to prevent schedule and cost overruns.
  • Prepared and presented regular progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of FTTH project management or relevant experience.
  • Solid experience in FTTH, civil works, ADSS and figure-8 cable deployment.
  • Strong subcontractor and project rollout management experience.
  • Good communication skills with customer-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, and Power BI.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork skills.
