The Technical Lead will oversee the technical operations, maintenance, and optimization of electric vehicles (EVs), ensuring their reliability, safety, and top performance. This role combines hands-on engineering expertise with leadership responsibilities to drive team efficiency, technical innovation, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has strong experience in vehicle diagnostics, electrical and mechanical systems, and team management within the automobile industry.

Education/Professional Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automobile Engineering (or related field).
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in automobile engineering or maintenance.
  • Proven experience with both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
  • Prior experience working with or maintaining electric vehicles is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications in automotive diagnostics, EV systems, or maintenance are preferred.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong technical expertise in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and system integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of EV systems, battery installation, and high-voltage safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting ability.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and maintenance management systems.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail, high safety awareness, and a commitment to quality standards.

Pay: From ₦350,000.00 per month
