ROLE SUMMARY

The Content Lead drives the end-to-end content strategy of the fintech brand creating and managing high-impact content that increases brand visibility, boosts customer engagement, strengthens financial literacy, and supports product adoption. This role oversees the content team, ensures brand consistency across platforms, and aligns content with business goals, campaign calendars, and growth KPIs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Content Strategy & Planning


• Develop and implement a data-driven content strategy that supports product launches, customer acquisition, and retention.


• Build monthly and quarterly content calendars across all channels.


• Conduct competitor and market research within the fintech ecosystem.

  1. Content Creation & Management


• Lead creation of educational, product-based, social media, blog, email, and in-app content.


• Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, financial compliance regulations, and customer needs.


• Oversee storytelling for campaigns, fintech products, user journeys, and product tutorials.

  1. Team Leadership


• Manage and mentor writers, designers, videographers, and content strategists.


• Assign tasks, review outputs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.


• Coordinate with product, compliance, growth, and customer experience teams.

  1. SEO, Analytics & Performance


• Optimize content for SEO, conversions, and engagement.


• Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMRush, Hotjar, HubSpot, Meta Insights, etc.) to track performance.


• Run A/B tests to improve copy effectiveness (landing pages, ads, emails).

  1. Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership


• Develop thought-leadership pieces for founders/leadership.


• Create financial education content that positions the company as a trusted fintech authority.


• Maintain brand consistency across all communication touchpoints.

  1. Compliance & Risk Management


• Ensure accuracy of financial advice and adherence to regulatary guidelines.


• Work closely with Legal/Compliance teams on sensitive financial communication.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.


• 4–7 years' experience in content strategy, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or digital products.


• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.


• Experience managing creative teams.


• Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics, SEO, and customer acquisition funnels.


• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, engaging content.
