Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and room service to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction, quality, and service standards. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, managing inventory, and assisting in the smooth running of all F&B outlets within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food and beverage staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent guest experience.
  • Ensure all F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, and room service) maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address complaints or concerns.
  • Assist in planning menus, pricing, and promotional activities with the F&B Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
  • Oversee inventory levels, requisitions, and stock control to minimize waste and manage costs.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, billing, and recordkeeping procedures.
  • Support in scheduling and rostering of staff according to business levels.
  • Maintain effective communication between kitchen, bar, and service teams.
  • Report operational issues and provide feedback for improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of
    OND/HND/Bachelor's degree
    in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of
    3–5 years' experience
    in food and beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
